We are committed to providing clients with a compatible caregiver. The Senior Care Source, Inc. referral representative will ask a series of questions that will enable us to understand your needs and develop a plan of care based on your goals for care. An initial assessment and customized plan of care will be developed by Senior Care Source, Inc.’s registered nurse. The RN will note personal preferences and interests, providing valuable information in the caregiver selection process. All of this information allows us to match you or your loved one with a highly trained caregiver who shares similar interests.
Senior Care Source, Inc. can often provide home care services within 24 hours of your first call. Caregivers are licensed and certified, have the training, supervision, and screening you and your loved one need to be safe at home. All staff members are supervised by a registered nurse. In the event skilled nursing is required, all of the nursing staff is licensed and will provide skilled nursing in the home.
All staff must pass a thorough, comprehensive pre-employment process. This process includes a criminal record check, physical exam including drug screening and TB testing. Senior Care Source, Inc. guarantees satisfaction with your assigned staff. If you are not completely satisfied, we will replace the caregiver.
All our care providers and home health aides undergo a series of thorough background screenings. This includes a fingerprint search, health and drug screening, as well as a criminal check at the state and federal level. The in-depth screening process is followed up on an annual basis.
An intensive training and certification program is mandatory at the hiring of each caregiver. In addition to rigorous care training in vital sign reading, nutrition etc., health aides receive instruction on our professional protocol and cultural sensitivity orientation. Initial training is followed up by a nurse oversight and annual in-service training to maintain certification.
